This guide explains how to use Goldilocks CRM for your marketing automation needs. By using tags and exports, you can easily sync your data with platforms for your email campaigns.
1. Creating and Applying Tags
Tags allow you to segment your clients for targeted automation.
- To Create a Tag: Go to Contacts > Add Contact. In the Tags section, type your new tag name (e.g., "Customer") and press Enter.
- To Tag Existing Clients: Open a contact's profile, find the Tags section, and select or create the relevant tag. Save the profile to apply.
2. Exporting for Automation
To move your list to your email tool:
- Go to the Contacts page and click Generate Report.
- Select Excel as the format (this is best for importing into other tools).
- Click Generate Report to download your list.
3. Using with your marketing automation software
Most platforms allow you to upload this Excel or a CSV file. The exported contact list is designed for use with your existing marketing automation software. Simply upload the exported file to your preferred email marketing platform to get started.
